Join Frances Adam from UWE Bristol and the Student Volunteering Network Committee in an interactive session discussing 8 Lessons Learned from Running Online Events for students. This session is open to institution and union staff as well as staff from partner organisations with an interest in engaging students - join us to hear about our experiences so far and share best practice and new ideas.

After more than a year of disruption to sporting and cultural events around the World, the 2022 Commonwealth Games hope to be the light at the end of the tunnel where we can unite a nation to celebrate sport, culture and humankind. Laura Easton, Workforce + Volunteer Special Projects Lead, will give an overview of the Games activity with specific focus on the Volunteer programme and the opportunities for you to get involved in what is sure to be one of the best Games yet.

We will be screening 'The Voluntourist', a short film developed by the Chloe Sanguinetti that tells the stories of international volunteers and the potential problems in this industry. Join to watch the film and discuss the ethics of 'voluntourism'.
