The SVN Annual Conference 2017 takes place on 15^th and 16^th August as part of a wider NUS Membership Services Conference. This is an annual platform for our members to come together; network, learn from each other, and discuss some of the current issues effecting student volunteering. This year we have a wide range of interesting workshops for members to attend covering topics such as:

• Student Volunteering Week
• Making volunteering accessible
• Volunteering and its role in TEF
• Avoiding “voluntourism”

We will also be holding our AGM during the conference where members will be updated on key developments from the last year as well as vote on new Terms of Reference. As well as formal sessions there will be ample opportunities to network informally with peers at other institutions and engage in the wider NUS programme. We will also have an SVN breakout room with a programme of “fringe” activities.
